Trip Planning - Free Consultation (30 min)
Thinking about planning your next photography adventure, but not sure where to start? This free 30-minute consultation is a chance to explore how we might work together to design a personalized Photography Trip Planning Package tailored to your goals, style, and level of experience.
Whether it’s your first overseas trip, your first photography-focused journey, or you’re a seasoned traveler diving into a new region, we’ll use this time to discuss your needs, interests, and challenges - and see if we’re a good fit to move forward.
While I’m not a travel agent, I bring firsthand experience from over 25 countries across all seven continents — including remote, extreme, and logistically complex locations. Past trips include:
• Wildlife safaris in Eastern and Southern Africa
• Rainforest expeditions in Central America
• Desert journeys in the Middle East and West Africa
• Underwater photography in South America, the Middle East, Africa, Australia and New Zealand
• Sub-zero photography in Antarctica
If you already have a travel agent, I’m happy to collaborate with them to ensure your itinerary is optimized for photography - from light and timing to location access and gear considerations. I also help clients navigate often-overlooked logistical details - such as strict luggage requirements on remote bush flights, where soft-sided, non-wheeled bags are often mandatory and gear weight must be minimized or strategically packed.
If we decide to move forward, I can help with research, gear planning, safety/logistics, and building an itinerary aligned with your photographic goals — whether it’s a quick visit to a national park or a multi-country, multi-week expedition.
Bonus for Trip Planning Clients
Clients who move forward with a Trip Planning Package receive a discount on future coaching sessions — perfect for preparing your skills before departure or editing and curating images afterward.
